Rip Off
Fee?
I recently
finished a menu for a friend's restaurant. I needed to print about fifty
copies of it so I stopped by a local print shop in Jonesboro. There I was
told that they had a "rip" charge to open each file. That's right, each
and every one of 'em. It was $7.50! I am sure that they really wanted to
call it a "rip off" charge but they just didn't want to go there. Others
(all that I know of) charge no such fee.
The
print shop says it slows down their "more important" work for "more important"
clients when they get small jobs to do. So, when your small jobs become
big enough, they will be there for you but for now, while you are a very
small business and need them the most, bring lot's of cash! - Quaedan
